During your whitening treatment, our dentist will first apply a special protective covering to your gums followed by the application of a professional-grade whitening gel to your teeth. At-Home Whitening Trays

For a flexible teeth whitening solution, we offer professional take-home whitening traysfeaturing Opalescence and KöR Whitening gels. Custom-fitted trays, created from precise molds of your teeth, ensure optimal contact with the whitening gel while minimizing gum exposure to prevent irritation.

White Spot Lesion Treatment
Even with excellent oral care, white spots—demineralized areas of enamel—may still develop. These spots, known as white spot lesions, can result from various factors, with patients undergoing orthodontic treatment being at higher risk. In some cases, these lesions may also be present as your permanent teeth develop.
At Anderson Family Dental, we offer ICON treatment therapy to provide our patients with a minimally invasive option to remove the white spot lesions. ICON allows us to quickly and painlessly blend white spots with your natural tooth-color, restoring the appearance of your smile.
ICON TREATMENT PROCESS
ICON treatment is a simple and painless process. Your dentist will apply a rubber shield to cover gums and other areas of the mouth. After cleaning and rinsing your teeth, the treatment will proceed with minimal discomfort.
First, the dentist will apply ICON-Etch on teeth surfaces and spread it equally. After two minutes, they will remove the gel with water and air dry.
Next they will apply ICON Dry on teeth surfaces. The alcohol solution is applied with a syringe and kept in place for 30 seconds.
The third step is applying ICON-Infiltrant on the affected teeth for three minutes.
The dentist will finish up by flossing your teeth to ensure the solution does not stick between the teeth. Then, a special LED light is focused on the teeth for roughly 40 seconds.
